Why settle for a
cheap modern radio that’s sort-of-made to fit, or install a hidden
audio system when you can have the real thing plus so much more? These
new radios have the look and feel of the original radio, but with
the performance you expect from today’s technology. From the
dash, every piece you see has been designed to match the original.
For example, the thread and diameter of each shaft bushing is the
same as was used originally. The dial fonts are exact duplicates.
The dash bezels are die cast. The tuning knob and pushbuttons make
the dial pointer move the way they’re supposed to. No digital
displays here! Behind the dash it’s a different story. Powerful
electronics are built into a chassis that is only 2-1/2 “ deep.
There is room for electric wipers and/or air conditioning! All radios
have RCA inputs for CD,MP3 Player or Satellite options. Subtly printed
in the dial back-ground is the FM dial scale. Inside the case is our
proven digital tuner system with a 180 watt RMS power amplifier! Two
powerful microprocessors monitor the “human interface” (knobs)
and, through the magic of software, make the radio dial imitate the
original while pumping out a sound that is cleaner and much more powerful
than the best radio that was available when your truck was new!
Ask about applications for trucks with 6 volt systems. Each radio
comes with a detailed instruction booklet explaining speaker options,
installation, operation, troubleshooting tips, and information about
connecting CD, MP3 or Satellite options.
