Project:Build a driver from a 1947 Chevy Half Ton on a 1991 S10 Chassie. Recently I was given an S10 by a friend of my brothers, Since it had a 2.8 in it I was considering doing the V8 conversion that many have done before and driving it, but once I saw the truck I decided it was too rough for those purposes so I decided that I'd combine the S10 with a 47 Chevy half ton I bought for $200 2 or 3 years ago for the gauges and the rear bumper. Since then I've scavenged many parts off it for the 53. Also I've got a 305 and a 350 tranny sitting in the barn that came with the extended cab but I don't plan on using there.
